Our actions for the environment

We are aware of the impact of our activities on the environment

We are actively committed to sustainable development. We have put in place a number of concrete actions, such as reducing our energy consumption, sorting and recycling our waste, and promoting alternative modes of transport for our employees. We also support local initiatives to protect the environment, and we raise awareness among our teams of the importance of eco-responsibility.

On the road to a greener environment!

PROMAN is actively committed to reducing its environmental footprint through concrete initiatives tailored to each country where we operate. Here are three outstanding examples:

  • Belgium: A fleet of green vehicles including 56 % electric cars and the installation of semi-public recharging points in offices.
  • France: 86 % reduction in waste through systematic recycling, installation of solar panels, and promotion of car-sharing and public transport.
  • Netherlands: Transition to an all-electric fleet by 2030 and adoption of teleworking to reduce business travel.

“Goutte Bleue” operation

30 tonnes less waste in the environment! This is the result of the ‘Goutte Bleue’ operation carried out by the Pure Ocean Foundation and the teams at PROMAN head office. An immersive exhibition also raised participants’ awareness of the importance of protecting the oceans.

 

Pure Ocean Foundation

Committed to preserving the oceans, PROMAN has been working for several years with the Pure Ocean Foundation and experts to create educational tools on ocean culture for businesses. This initiative is part of the European Erasmus+ project ‘SOS Sharing Ocean Science for Responsible Business’.
